This polyhedral block explores how surface geometry may influence the natural release of compounds contained in Himekomatsu. Each face is finished with a traditional Japanese canna (wood plane), allowing the wood’s material character to remain open and tactile.
Rather than functioning as a fragrance product, this object examines quiet material presence within space. It is part of a broader inquiry into how wood behaves over time in lived environments.
